Overview Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS)

  • Established: December 24, 1992, in Kota Samarahan, Sarawak.
  • Started with 118 students in 1993; currently features 50 faculties, 3 institutes, and 60 centers.
  • Faculty of Education, Language, and Communication (FELC): Began as the Centre for Language Studies in 1993; renamed in 2023 to meet modern educational needs.

   

Programme Highlights: Bachelor of Arts in English for Global Communication (Honours)

  • Duration: 4 years, full-time, taught entirely in English.
  • Focus: Equip students with practical skills in English for global communication across academic, professional, and personal contexts.
